How to book Choose your accommodation at our webpage "Rent" or send us an email with your request. As soon as we receive your reservation we will send you a preliminary confirmation within 24 hours. The reservation is not secured however until we receive a 20% deposit fee. At present we are not able to accept credit cards nor travel checks. The reminder of the payment you pay cash upon arrival to Your B&B host, The apartment and villa accommodations shall be paid in advance to the owner bank account. When we have received your deposit fee we will send you the rented object address with a final confirmation email. Most of our B&B hosts prefer a minimum of 2 nights stay, We don't accept single night booking.  For apartments and villas the minimum rental period is usually seven nights, especially in high season. If you want to stay for a longer period, there will be an extra charge, related to the length of your stay. Again, exceptions can be made, and most owners try to accommodate your needs. Low season is a good period for shorter stays! The weather is often lovely, and since there are less bookings, everything goes at a calmer pace, and owners can be more flexible.

These rules apply when you book and stay with Côte d'Azur Guesthouse:Booking a rental object is a contract, Unless special arrangements have been agreed, the following guidelines will apply in accordance with international practice.

A reservation is regarded as binding once it has been confirmed. Confirmation can be given orally or in writing, for example by e-mail. You and Côte d'Azur Guesthouse are then regarded as having agreed a contract. For information on cancellations, please see the section headed "Cancellations".

Limitation of responsibility The rental object owner is responsible for the letting of accommodation. Côte d'Azur  Guesthouse acts only as a intermediary between the owner and the guest. If the owner should for any reason be unable to let the booked accommodation, Côte d'Azur Guesthouse has the right to book another equivalent  accommodation with another object or offer repayment of the deposit fee. Côte d'Azur Guesthouse will inform the guest about such a situation and the necessary booking alteration. The guest is not entitled to damaged or compensation beside what has been stated here. Côte d'Azur Guesthouse bears no responsibility for conditions or events that lie outside Côte d'Azur Guesthouse's control. Neither Côte d'Azur Guesthouse nor the owner bears any liability for the guest or the guests belongings regarding injury, damage or loss. The guest is responsible for his own person and his belongings.

Booking includes The B&B accommodation is available from 17.00 (arrival day) to 11.00 (departure day) unless a special arrangement has been made with the owner. The B&B accommodation price includes a continental breakfast (Tea/Coffee, juice, bread, butter, cheese, marmalade) bed linen and towels. The B&B accommodation will be cleaned once a week. If the guest stays longer than a week, the sheets and towels will be changed by the 7th day.
In the apartment and villa accommodation price water and electricity is included, and in most cases the final cleaning. Linens might not be included, but can often be rented for 20 Euros per person. As soon as you get from us the exact rental price for the week/weeks you are looking for, you will also know what is included and what is not.

Deposit fee is 25% of the total charge, These charge will be deducted from your final bill. If you cancel your booking outside the cancellation time limit Côte d'Azur Guesthouse is entitled to retain the deposit fee

Payment The B&B accommodation has to be paid cash in advance upon arrival to the owner. The apartment and villa accommodations shall be paid in advance to the owner bank account. Vouchers and credit cards are not accepted.

Confirmation When Côte d'Azur Guesthouse has received the guest's payment of the deposit fee, we send you via email all information about your booking (name, address and contact details. At that time, Côte d'Azur Guesthouse also sends to the owner information about the guest and his party. We recommend that the guest confirm directly with the owner.

Indefinite stays 
If you B&B guest are staying for an indefinite period and extend your stay by a day at a time, you should notify your departure no later than 12.00 on the previous evening, otherwise you will be charged for an extra night's stay. If Côte d'Azur Guesthouse or B&B host can no longer make the B&B accommodation available to you, it should notify you by no later than 12.00 on the previous evening.

Terms of cancellation and "no shows" In the event guest must cancel a booking, contact Côte d'Azur Guesthouse first. We will notify the owner of the rental object. For booking cancelled in writing not later than 14 days before the check-in date, our deposit fee will be repaid minus 20 EURO cancellation fee. For booking cancelled later than 14 days before the booked arrival date, or the guests not make use of the reservation, our deposit fee is not repaid. If the rented object is not cancelled at the latest at 12.00 the day before arrival date guest is obliged to pay for one night. You are liable for any special costs which Côte d'Azur Guesthouse or owner may incur in connection with your booking.

Departure before agreed date If you have booked for a given period but depart early you are liable to the same charge as for a late cancellation, i.e. you pay for an extra night's stay in addition to the normal charge for your stay.

Smoking Most B&B accommodations, apartment and villas nowadays are non-smoking. If you would like to smoke, please check at the time of booking whether smoking is permitted. The owner is entitled to debit guests for the cost of cleaning fabrics, furnishings etc if the no-smoking rule is infringed.

Complaints If you have complaints, it is very important you make them on site and at an early stage to the owner. Complaints after completed stay will not be accepted or compensated.

Standards Côte d'Azur Guesthouse has inspected all rental objects and  found them to be of a good normal standard with normal equipment.
